Philippa Smith AM
I’ve had a full and varied career being Commonwealth Ombudsman and co-head of the Australian Consumers Association (ACA) and CEO of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA).
I was also chair of Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), foundation head of the NSW Health Care Complaints Unit, spokesperson for the Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS), and a member of several public, not-for-profit, and private boards or tribunals.
My focus has been on public policy and accountability issues and meeting the expectations of the community.
I now wish to use the experiences I have gained for the strategic direction and governance of not-for-profit organizations or the review of government policies.
